Until then though, it looks like a new set of features and enhancements made their way to WhatsApp beta version for Windows Phone. The highly-anticipated voice calling feature has been implemented into WhatsApp Messenger beta for Windows Phone and is expected to be made available to the general public pretty soon. Those lucky enough to have been accepted into the beta have already gotten some new features that are only available on Android, iOS and BlackBerry platforms. Unfortunately, the beta program offers quite a limited number of spots for those who wish to test the application and provide their feedback. The good news is developers have kicked off a beta program where Windows Phone users can try out new features and improvements before they are released for the general public. ![]() Many issues have been plaguing the application since its release, and some of them haven't been addressed yet. The application lacks quite a few important features, including the ability to make and take voice calls.īut that's just one of the reasons WhatsApp for Windows Phone is still behind in comparison with other platforms.
